It's Here! My story of launch day

Hello all, its been a while since i have posted, but i warned you. ANYWAY, its official, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is out now, and this is a story of how i spent the time leading to June 9th 12:00 AM, and my game play. Also, i will be making my first diary post soon.


It's Here!

My time was spent enjoying a normal day at home. Normal used to be watching TV til my brain said "Stop....that's enough!", but without any cable, i spent the day just hanging out with my brother. I took a nap or 2 just to make the day HURRY THE HELL UP, and then went to the Bell Tree Forums. They had a live stream, but unfortunately my brother hogged the laptop, so i read posts on my 3ds browser. When i got the laptop back, i looked at the nice little stream set up, posted a few funny comments, and waited it out holding my 3ds while in the eShop. Then it finally came...2 years in the making, New Leaf was finally here! (for us in America). I rushed to the game on eshop, and downloaded the game...witch took about 30 minutes...and then, it was time to play. Ok before i say this, i have to say i'm a tad OCD with certain things. If i see the clock has a time like 1:23 PM, i will say "1:23, 1..2..3." like a crazy person. I'm the same way about cleaning sometimes, but with a messy room like mine, you would believe that i get uneasy looking at a messy bed. Hell, i'm like that with typing. Lets say that i'm...writing a blog, and i see words that aren't added in my dictionary like eShop, i will just stop typing and i must add it cause it drives me nuts!...ANYWAY, I also tend to try to get too much out of a game. I anticipated this game forever, and as i start to play, all the hype goes away fast. I remember it was the same with Pokemon B/W, i got the collectors edition guide, i got a new 3ds at the time, and i was so hyped for it to come, but it got so boring fast. Mind you that i was in love with the game while waiting for it, but i just started to mellow out and slowly stopped playing. And now i turn it on and after 5 minutes i quit. I think personally its because of all the cool new stuff that is in New Leaf that isn't exactly shown in day one. I actually felt stupid thinking i could get stuff off of QR pattern sites right away, and some of my plans for the game, like town name, other stuff, i felt like i was obligated to do those things like pic the face i always use. So in the end i played 3 towns, Freyport, Onett, then Onett again, the one i'm sticking with. I actually played the second town for hours and i still quit because i wasn't satisfied. I guess it boils down to the fact that these great features aren't slapping you in the face on day one. I also time traveled in  one and i had my heart set on the early home decoration contest for Bell Tree Forums. All in all, i guess i'm just  over thinking it, and just have to play day by day.

Hello, my name is Everett. My first name is Chris, and my Bell Tree and Animal Crossing Community forum names are Kabune. Also Everett is my middle name, and a nickname ..Anyway, this blog is my AC:NL journal, This post will be one of my only posts till June 9th: Release day of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I will be using in game pictures and maybe a little storytelling-ish. Ex: "I start my day with a visit to my favorite villager Alphonso, [Insert pic talking to Alphonso here]. I guess that type of writing is diary based, but whatever. I want to make a nice little poll and stuff like that, but who knows how this blog will go. I will be downloading the game at midnight. Also to let you guys know, im a blog noob so it may not be flashy and cool to draw you in, but i will do the best i can. Seeya June 9th...or i might put more stuff before that....well seeya anyway.
